I came across a new product just a couple days ago at WarcraftFormula.com that is actually a bit different from all the other WoW guides out there right now. It’s not a guide for anything in particular – so it’s not only for leveling, gold making, PvP, or anything else. However, I think it may still end up being a fairly useful resource for most of you out there who are looking to improve upon those very areas.

The site is run by Brad Johnson and T Dub Sanders, two guide writers you might have heard of. Brad put together Warcraft Millionaire and a profession guide under the same title. T Dub did the PvP Bible – probably the best PvP guide on the market right now – and WotLK Secrets. They decided to come together on this one, using the “both of best worlds” angle to sell the product. It actually seems to have worked as the Warcraft Formula product is pretty decent from both angles.
Here’s the premise – you start out by paying $17. That initial payment gets you quite a bit. First, there’s a guide that is admittedly pretty useless for anyone that’s been around for a while – an Action Plan that guides players through setting up an account with their main, UI mods, alts, gear, guild signups, and end-game setups. It’s a great resource, but probably more so for casuals looking to get deeper into the game. Along with this though you get a monthly eBook that Brad and T Dub put out that contains about 30 pages of content on everything that happened in the last month in the game. In January for example, the guide talked about the upcoming 3.0.8 patch, gold making strategies at 2 months, and Death Knight nerfs and buffs. You get the current guide and all existing guides when you signup and then with a $17 monthly fee you get each guide monthly.
Coming from two consummate pros and produced to provide a wide variety of different bits of content each month covering everything from gold making and raiding to PvP (there’s a monthly PvP feature), the guide is pretty solid content and the price is definitely reasonable. If you’re looking for more up to date, pointed strategies each month, this is a good place to start.

WoW Gold Sellers Put on Notice!
This week Blizzard received a powerful new ally on in their never-ending war against gold sellers: Paypal.

WoW Gold Sellers on Notice!
In response to Blizzard’s complaints against sellers using Paypal as their method for receiving payments for in-game World of Warcraft gold, Paypal issued a letter to various popular gold sellers threatening to suspend their accounts. The full letter from Paypal is copied below (via WoW Insider):
“You were reported to PayPal as an Intellectual Properties violation by Blizzard Entertainment Inc. for the sale of World of Warcraft Merchandise.
“If you feel your sales do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of the Reporting Party, please complete the attached Objection to Infringement Report by January 21, 2011.
“The completed form should be faxed to the attention of the Acceptable Use Policy Department at [number removed] or emailed to [email removed].
“Should you choose not to object to the report, you will be required to remove all World of Warcraft Merchandise from the website [url removed] in order to comply with the Acceptable Use Policy.’”
WoW Gold Sellers Not Down for the Count YET!
Though this move isn’t enough to put gold sellers out of commission entirely, it presents a major blow to their business. The harder it is to pay for virtual money through a trustworthy source, the less likely gamers will be willing to take the risk of buying gold at all.

Are you using your Dreamcloth cooldown? Wait what’s Dreamcloth? You don’t know about it? What! Dreamcloth is the new cataclysm special cloth that can be made by using one of every volatile, it’s somewhat costly to make depending on the volatile, but it is very profitable if you use the dreamcloth to craft epic tailoring gear
Do you know that, right now, you can spend about 2,000g on making all 5 pieces of Dreamcloth for the week and craft an epic ilvl 359 tailoring piece that can sell for 10,000g+? No?

How does this work?
There are five different ways to make Dreamcloth. Each piece requires 30 of one volatile and can only be crafted once per week, there are 5 different Dreamcloth cooldowns, one for every volatile. Patterns cost 1 piece of Dreamcloth to buy, and 4 to craft.
If you were to buy every single volatile off the Auction House you could still make a nice profit ( ~500% ROI ) but you could also go out and farm your volatiles. Some are easier to farm than others, but you could also use the Alchemy transmutes to make those volatiles that are hard to get and costs a bit at the auction house *cough* Volatile Air
Where is the cloth vendor located?
The cloth turn in vendor is located in Twilight Highlands, you need to be at least 84 to get here, otherwise you will be phased out and cannot see the vendors, or anyone at all for that matter. Look at the map below, the cloth vendor can be found there.

Dreamcloth Vendor - $$
Why should I do this?
As of right now epics are HUGE. People are trying to get the item level requirement for heroics and they need any and all gear. If you do craft one, you’re going to make huge profits on them, trust me there are people out there that are willing to pay 10k+ for the current best in slot gear.
